I came to US in 1999 on tourist visa then got it changed to H-1 i got the approval from 04/17/2000 to 12/15/2002 and in the meantime i changed my company and i got the new approval notice in the name of new company from 02/06/2002 to 02/05/2005. As you can see my visa is expiring in Feb 2005,
I got married to US citizen in March 2003 and i filed for Change of status but forgot to file 1-765. I filed for my green card in July 2003(through NY office) and have got only finger printing done so far and have got no other response from INS yet.
i request you to please advice me on following
1) Do i need to leave the country before Feb 2005.
2) is there any way to extend my H1 visa.
