H1B own contract 1099 without informing employer.
Hi all seniors,
my H1B employer now paying me too less $22/hr for 6hours job now.
I have one offer to work on 1099 contract, that is asking me he will pay me by cheque and he told me pay tax your own under 1099 contract, they will not paying tax, and even salary is not high so, I can not ask my employer to make any c2c contract, the person is not ready illegale cash pay but he show me way to contract under 1099, he will pay me $20/hr for 10hours job (Monday to saturday 6days job). please help me out that I can make contract under 1099 without involving Employer, and if I not pay tax its fine, or I must have to pay tax? because if I pay tax than its problem that my employer also paying my tax too, and that job is for more 5months extension. my new 1099 contract job is for 1year contract with me only.
