Can I file New H1 . My Old H1 expires Today.

Hi ,

Can anyone please inform when I can file new H1. My Old H1 expires today and I completed my 6 years in US. My I-94 is for 10 more days, so I will move out within 4 days from here. I just wanted to know how soon can I come back.

You need to stay out of U.S for 1 year before you can file a new H1B (After completing the 6 year term in H1B), unless you have already filed your PERM (Labor) 365 days before your current visa expiry.
