    H1B Visa stamping with short validity in I797

    My Current H1B visa is expired but have a valid H1B petition (I797) till Sep 2010 . I am planning to visit india and get the H1B stamping done in MAY 2010. Will there be a problem during H1B stamping in MAY 2010 with short duration ( 4 months) left in my H1B petition .

    No. You will get the visa till the petition expiry date. Make sure your passport doesn't expire before the petition end date.

      Many Thanks for the quick reply . My passport is valid till 2017 .
