Information on H4 Visa

I have applied for H1 visa in Oct 2009 and received my passport with stamp on Jan 2010.
That time I was planning to go alone as my kids are studing and I don't want to break there studied in between the year.
As I have received my passport very late and now I am planing to take my family along with me and I have also taken oppointment for H4 with USA consulate.
Can you please guide me whether this is good idea to go for stamping now and what documents my wife and kids has to carry with her to consulate on oppointment as I don't have USA paystuff and IT returns because till now I have not gone to USA.
I am having paystuff and IT returns for india.

Why do you think they ask for US pay stubs when you never worked there?

There is no problem at all. Now your wife and kid can go for stamping with:
(1) Your passport photo copies including visa page
(2) Your I-797 photo copies
(3) Birth certificate for your child
(4) For your wife - Marriage certificate, marriage album or atleast some of the photos in which it is clear that the photos are of marriage ceremony, Marriage invitation card or Reception Card

As you are still in india, give them the copies of IT Returns and paystubs of india, no need for US paystub, as you are still not landed in USA, and they will be having in their records. So, no problem for that.

Please let me know whether should my wife has to carry bank statement of principal of applicant for going H4 visa as I am staying in India and my expense of my family traveling is taken care by my company.
Any how she is carrying my pay stuff and IT returns of my present company.

What exactly are you trying to ask? Did you follow link provided below about the documents required for H4 stamping? It is always safe to have all the documents (even additional documents that are not in the h4 visa list) while going for a visa interview. To be in a safer side, let your wife carry your bank statements (last 6 months), pay slips (last 6 months) and IT returns if that is what you are asking.
