H4 to H1B conversion

My wife was on H4 VISA when she came with me to US. While in US, one of the company
filed a H1B for her and she got it. After getting her H1B, due to pregnancy reasons she could not work and we converted her status back to H4 after an year.
Now the baby is grown up and she would like to convert her status back to H1.

So my question is-
1) Is the H1B of my wife no longer valid now?
2) If the H1B is still active with her employer, is it possible to activate the H1B status again?
3) How much time does it take to get H4 converted to H1B?.
4) Can she start looking for Jobs while she is on H4 and have applied for change of status
to H1B?

As long as the original LCA is not yet expired, and if the job with the original employer is still available (same position), she can join again on H1.

Otherwise, she will have to apply for H1 again.
