Hi All..
My H1B extension(1st time) got approved and visa is valid till 2012. I came down to India for vaction and went for stamping on Jan 6th 2010.
During the interview consulate officer told "Your Visa is cleared but I am putting it on hold for adminstrative process". It has been a month since I attend the interview but till now no update. They havent asked for any document but collected my passport.
I have faced the same situation during my H1B New stamping. At that time officer have returned by passport back to me and issued a pink slip and i guess after four weeks they have updated the status asking for passport.
Would you please let me know is there any chance of rejecting the visa?
If they going to issue a visa, normally how long it will take?
