Got two I-94 cards at a time-Pls Advice

Hi All

I reached US last month using H1. I have two valid visas(B1 and H1) stamped in my passport. At port of entry the officer,by mistake, entered the arrival date on my B1 visa page and gave the I-94 for B1 visa( I have approved h1b petition and all other docs). Then i told him I came in H1. Initially he is not accepting then he sent me to another room. I have told all the details to another officer and he gave the new I-94 for my H1 visa.

The problem is I have not returned the I-94 given for my B1 visa and also there is an entry in my passport(arrival date) besides my B1 visa. Will it be a problem?

Pls help me how to return the wrong I-94 and how to cancel the date entry in my B1 visa page?..

Go to the nearest CBP and explain them what happened. They should be abel to help you.
