I am an international student and had applied for financial aid in school.Usually FAFSA is available only for citizens/ perm residents.However, my petition got approved.
The financial aid director sent me an email saying that accepting this aid may cause visa problems.When I consulted my international adviser, she told me that it may affect you only if you reapply for f1 status once it has been expired.(cos i am using federal money)
However, will accepting this aid affect my H1b application in any ways ? Kindly let me know ASAP
