F1 and H1 approved - status?

Hi,

I am on H4. My H1 was applied in 2009 April and got rejected in Aug 2009. An MTR was filed and is being processed. Since it is over 6 months i do not know whether it will be approved or not. so im planning to study by applying for a student visa(F1).

In case both F1 and H1 are approved what will be my status?

Your status will change as per the last received approval notice (Provided it comes with a new I-94). Read about the last action rule in the forum.
