Place of Birth....in Birth certificate ---Most urgent!!

I am currently on H1B visa and my company is going to apply for my GC soon. Now, I have an issue with my birth certificate. Place of Birth in my passport is given as " YYYY ", and my birth certificate has place of birth as "YYYY (District. YYYY )". My passport does not have village name YYYY. Since my BC has district name mentioned in addition to village name where I was born, would this be Okay for Green Card processing or I need to get it fixed?

Please advise.

Apply for green card with YYYYY (District: YYYY X) and get it changed in the passport meanwhile.
