SSN H4 to H1 transfer

I came to US on H1 before. After that I was in India for 2 years when my H1 got expired but it has still not completed 6 years on it.
I came to US on H4 and now I got a job and my employer is filing H4 to H1 transfer. I know that I do not come under the cap category but I want to know will my SSN change after the new H1 or it will remain the same . I have SSN when I came on H1 earlier.

Filing H1B has nothing to do with SSN. Your SSN will remain the same. If you already have an SSN number, then that is what you need to give your new employer.
