Hello Guys!
I need your help. I am currently on non-cap H1B visa for a government hospital, working in research, and I would soon be joining a medical school residency program.
My question is, Can my exisiting VISA be transferred to the not-for profit medical school?
Traditionally, medical students or foreign medical graduates who go to the residency dont give the final exam - USMLE step 3 before entering residency, but programs usually ask H1B seekers to have step 3 results.
Would I be required to comply with this step if I seek transfer?
Is there any resource to navigate this sitiuation? Please help me with any suggestions you have.
Thanks
