    H1B 2015 cap

    Hi
    i have a H1b filed in 2015
    i travelled in 2016 and stayed for 6 months in US and returned to India.
    it got expired in 2018 July.
    i have now moved to another company in India.
    can i request my new employer in India to transfer that H1b.
    I heard a petition is valid for 6 years irrespective of whether it is used fully or partially or unused.
    is this correct.
    Please suggest.
