Can H-1B holders create non profit organization

I am on H-1. I am trying to create a non profit organization here to collect funds. Collected funds are used to run my organization in India. Can I do this with a H-1 B Visa.

I strongly feel you cannot. Is it money laundering or not. Why your no profit will fund your profit organization in India. Do not get into troubles...
