New H1B stamping before 90 days of current H1B expiration

I have a valid H1B visa stamp from my previous employer that expires this August 2019. I have a new I-797 from ******** that is valid till 2021. I got a visa appointment in Vancouver for the first week of May to get a new Visa stamped with respect to my new I-797.
Can I renew my visa before 90 days of expiration?Does anyone have any insights on this?
