H1 B Visa Stamping based on Passport Expiry?

Hi Seniors.

I was working for Company A and it has been taken over by company B. Now my H1 B I 797 is extended till May 2012.
My current VISA / I 94 expires on Sep 30th 2010. I am willing to go for stamping in India so that even before my I94/ VISA expires on Sep 30th this year I can get the stamping done till 2012 MAY.

But I have another issue here, my passport expires in Nov 2011.

So if I go for stamping in India in May 2010 this year, will I get the stamping till May 2012 since my H1 B is till then or will I get the stamping till Nov 2011 since my passport expires then.

Also for any reason, GOD FORBID, if I have problem getting stamped when I goto India, since I have my VISA till Sep 30th, Can I come back into USA without any issues.??? YES/NO.

>>> You should, since you have a passport that is valid for more than a year. If not, there is nothing much you could do, because passport can be renewed only 12 months in advance.
