I have recently received approval for my h1b visa which is of 3 years. I will be going to embassy now.
I would like to confirm whether it is true that for Pakistan, they will grant h1b visa duration for 1 year only. And after spending 1 year i will have to return back. I am confused because in the approval they have grant me 3 years visa then how can embassy reduce it to 1 year?
Is it safe to assume that, I will be able to stay in USA for 2 years more even though stamping duration is of 1 year only.
