Adjusting from H1B to Green card through sponsorship

I have just become a US citizen and I want to sponsor my Sister and brother in law who is already living and working in the US on a H1B visa. Does anyone have any experience or information on this. I was wondering if they still have to wait as long as people not in the US and if they could stay in the US after I have filed the paperwork.

They will have to wait the same time, around 10 to 12 years.

Until then, they will have to maintain their legal status on their own, without any help from you.
