  • I-94 question

    Hi,
    1) When I came to US - I received I-94 card (White document) - Which expired last year
    2) After I came to US- My H1 transfered to another compay - and received another I-94 card (attached to 797 form) - which will expire next month
    3) My H1b - renewed and received another I-94 card (attached to 797 form) - which will expire in 2013

I am going for a vacation and while leaving which I - 94 card do I have to return?

All the I-94's should be returned when you leave the country. Take a copy of them for your future records.

What if someone has forgot to submit I94 that is attached with I797 in previous visits? Can they return on the next visit outside country? Will there be any issue?

I understand this, thank you. But I am mentioning about I94 attached to I797 approval of notice form. If the white color I94 is submitted on every departure and never submitted the I94 on I797 form will cause a problem in future?

Can the I94 on I797 form be submitted with white color I94 on the next departure from USA?

          Thanks,
          Sachin

Doesn't matter how you got the I-94. Doesn't matter whether it is red or blue or green. All I-94's are the same and they need to be submitted when you leave the country. Otherwise it could cause issues. Your exit record will remain open. That is why they have mentioned very clearly in the approval notice to detach that I-94 and attach it to your passport. That way, all I-94's will be taken by the airport officials when you leave.
