Regarding H1 Transfer

Hi everyone

I have been in US since 2003 and i had my LC& I-140 approved for company A
As my project is going to be over so company B asked me to transfer my H1 to join another project.My question is
Im already in my 7th year of H1-b and its going to expire in nov 2010.So if i transfer to company B now will i be able to get an extension for company B?
do i need to transfer my LC&I-140 also for company B?

You may get an extension based on Company B's project itenary. Labor and I-140 cannot be transferred. Company B need to start your GC right form the beginning. However, you can recapture the priority date using the approved I-140 from Company A.
