H1 B - How to get Stamped

Hi,

Needed advice for the following situation:

Background: Company A did my H1 in 2008 as a COS from L1 to H1. Since I was working with another company then, I used the Leap Frog Rule and went out the US as of Oct 1st and came back on my L1. I worked till Jun'09 on my L1 and then did a COS to my husband's L2 (with EAD).

Situation: Is it possible to get my H1 stamped without doing a COS? If so, what papers would I need to accomplish the same?

If the H1B petition is still valid, then you can go out of the counrty and get the H1B stamped. COS is required only if you want to chnage the status from within U.S (Without the need for stamping).
