H1b 221g - Passport submitted

My husband recived 221g and was asked to submit some documents. After submitting, he received email to submit passport on June 17th and he submitted on 18th at Delhi consulate. Since than status is Administrative processing, date updated twice. When I track passport, it is still with US embassy. It is more than a week. When I track through email, earlier it was saying delivered to post but now it says " no status update available for the passport number submitted".
We are worrued.
Did anyone facing same? How many days they taking to issue the visa after submitting passport?

Hi Anki,

We have similar situation with one difference. My brother received 221G and was asked to submit documents, the employer provided all the documents that was marked on the blueslip on March 12, 2019. On June 5th, we received an email from uscis requesting to submit the passport we were so happy that everything went fine with 221G but the shock came when we went to collect the passport after 10 days. They did not stamp the visa on the passport instead they gave one more form mentioning that "visa is refused for administrative processing and will be reconsidered when administrative processing is complete". Since feb11, 2019 (us consulate interview date) the status on the site is "administrative processing".

We are checking the status daily if something has moved but no luck so far. thanks.
