Got laid off during F1 to H1
Hi,
I won the H1B lottery in May but got laid off July 17,2019. I am currently on F-1 visa which will expire 02/2021 and at the same time waiting for my H1B`s approval.
In this case, if I am able to find my next employer before the work visa starts, can I still transfer it to my new employer? If I am not able to, can I go back to my F-1? Or can I just stay F-1 and give up H1b directly? Please advise. Thanks.
