VERY URGENT - H1B stamping appointment

Hi,

Thanks for reading my post.

I have an interview appointment for my h1 visa extension at Hyderabad on March 30th at 8:30am.

I was suppose to fly to India yesterday. However, my flight got cancelled and could not travel. I will be travelling tomorrow and reach Hyderabad at 7:15am on March 30th. I am not sure whether I can go to the H1B interview at 8:30am on March 30th as I have very short duration. Can I attend the interview around 10am/11am without rescheduling as I will be attending on the same day or do I need to reschedule my appointment for 10am/11am ?

Airlines have given it in writing that my flight was cancelled and then rescheduled. Will that help me to explain the consulate as to why I missed my appointment at the scheduled time ?

You cannot. You will have to reschedule. Talk to the VFS helpdesk and probably they will be able to help you.
