DS160 - Preparer of Application

Hi,

i was filling ds160 for my son ( 4 year old). In the section Preparer of Application i found the column "Relationship to you" pretty confusing ?

a) Does this needs to be filled in the perspective of the Preparer ?

b) Does this needs to be filled in the perpective of the applicant (son) ?

Like i filled it for my son. So above column "relationship to you" will be

-- Child, if a) is used

-- Parent, if b) is used

What should be filled ?

In this case, "you" is your child.

Therefore, parent is appropriate.

Relationship with infant/minor

Hi Guys,

I am filling DS-160 for myself, my spouse and my infant (5 month old). I need your help to understand as to what do i need to fill for the 'Relationship with Person' column which is a part of US Travel section in which we need to mention the people travelling with you.

1. DS-160 For my daughter

People travelling with you
1. My Name (Father's Name)
Relationship to you - PARENT/CHILD (What do i select here)

2. My Spouse Name (Mother's Name)
Relationship to you - PARENT/CHILD

2. DS-160 For myself/spouse

People travelling with you
1. Infant (Daughter's Name)
Relationship to you - PARENT/CHILD (What do i select here)

2. My Spouse Name (Mother's Name)
Relationship to you - SPOUSE

It will be great if i can get a response soon so that i can complete my ds 160 form and block my dates accordingly.
