H1B visa stamping new delhi IMPS payment activation and receipt number

Hi -
I had two questions :
* How is in general Visa approval and denial rated in new delhi US embassy ?
* I about 10 hours ago made IMPS payment to book the appointment. I received a receipt number and RRN number, which number should I use in the "Receipt Number" section to book the appointment ? I have read online and someone suggesting using RRN number so I got a bit confused. Also how long does it take for the receipt number to get activated. The system is not accepting my receipt number or RRN number yet.
