Hi,
I am currently on H1-B (however visa not yet stamped) with expiration in Oct 8, 2020.
My Company is now filing for my H1-B Amendment due to addition of location. (Current + New).
I need to travel to India from Nov 27th til Dec end and planning to go for H1-B visa stamping Interview.(in Dec 2019).
Considering my petition will not be filed in premium and the regular processing takes anything within 4-6 months.
Will it be OK for e to go for H1-B Visa stamping based on the original petition considering the H1B Amendment is still in progress?
Also will there be any issue at Port of Entry?
