Hello,
I am currently on H1-B visa which ends on December 7th. If I stop working 1 week before my H1 ends i.e. say Nov 30th and then come back to work sometime in 2020 and apply for H1-B visa in 2020 in order to start working again, will I be cap-exempt because I have 7 days left in my H1-B period? This is assuming I would have an approved i-140 at that point (i-140 was self petition and not tied to employment).
