H1B status need urgent reply

Dear good members

I received excellent feedback in this forum previously and I thank everyone for their thoughts and advice

My h1 will get expire SEP-2010 means still valid and I am out of US since 2 years I was in US only 50 days

My question is below

1. H1 B cancel and withdrawal bye employer are same thing ???
means what is different between H1 cancel and withdrawal ???

2. how much time will take in H1B cancellation process by USICS???

I don't know weather my employer cancel my h1 or still on holed,

3. How can I know my H1 is still valid ???
in USICS website my status showing Post Decision Activity so what this mean ???

1. Both are the same. Cancel term is used if the H1b is already approved and employer is withdrawing it. A withdrawal term is used more when the H1b is still pending and employer is withdrawing it. Both mean the same.

2. Why does it matter if you are outside the US? A cancellation prevents that particular employer from employing you. It has got nothing to do with your visa on the PP or your ability to get back on H1b at a future time.

3. Most likely the H1b petition is cancelled by the employer.

it does matter because I want to go to US next month and there one employer who will transfer my h1 within 30 days after landing USA, but my current employer didn't receive any call or didn't give me any reply on my mail so that and my h1 on PP valid till to Sep-2010...so I am more tens and confusion for how to I know my status???weather still continue or not???

You cannot travel on the H1B visa if the employer didn't invite you and when you don't have a project in hand. This will cause issues at the POE and might even get you deported. If you want to transfer your petition, you can do that from your home country itself (By finding another suitable employer who is willing to do a transfer). Whether the current employer has revoked your H1B petition or not shouldn't be your concern (as already mentioned below in the previous reply). Revoking the H1B prevents you from working for that employer. It doesn't stop you from transferring to another employer as long as the current petition hasn't expired.
