H1b and F1 visa

Hi,

I am in India currently. My h1b petition was approved in Oct'09 and I have received the approved petition document. However, I did not go for
stamping and so I do not an h1b visa. So the present scenario is that I
have an approved H1B petition but no H1B visa attached to it.

There might be a probability that I would like to pursue higher studies
from USA in Fall 2010. In that case I will need to file for an F1 visa.

Will my current approved H1B petition cause any problem with my
application for F1 visa? Will my H1B petition be cancelled if my F1
petition gets approved?
