L1 to H1B

Hi,

I was issued a L1 blanket from my previous employer, the opportunity never materialized, and i didn't travel to US. i am no longer part of that organization. My visa is valid till Apr2012. Is it possible to have my L1 converted to H1B and seek another job opportunity.

You need to apply for a new H1B. There is no such thing as L1 to H1B conversion.
