    Hi Guys...!
I have been arrested for 4hrs under PI 3 months back and Finger printed. I pleaded guilt. Court has given me couple of alcohol related classes, 3 months unsupervised probation. Now I am planning to go back to India on may5th and get my H1B stamped, May 5th is the same day my probation would end. The court ppl initially said they will provide me case dismissal letter on that day, BUT now they are saying it takes 10 days to provide letter. Here i hav e cpl of qs:
1). Will the VO asks me to go physical examination in India for a board of doctors for this?
2). Can I tell the VO that the case is being dismissed BUT court says it takes 10days to get the notice of dismissal? (I can ask one of my friends to send the document by mail 2 India.
3.What do I need to put in DS-160??How can I explain...
(arrested under Public inoxication class C misdemnavor)?

    Please advise me..........
    Thanks

      HI Admin
THank you so much your answer lifted my spirits...!
BUt here is the thing...I have seen in one of the forums that one person has been in the same situation but VO asked him if the PI has been issued while DRIVING. And in his case it is NO, but in mycase it is yes. So I have read there that if the PI is issued with in 3 yr of the visa interview date, and it is while DRIVING they would ask 2 go to medical examination. HOW FAR IT IS TRUE??
thanks for providing me such help...!

Were you driving at that time?

Whether someone would be asked by the consular officer to do something or not is subjective and I can't tell you for your sure in advance.

          Yes I was driving..
my question is: Is there any rule that "any person arrested under any kind of alcohol and driving related case (I think they ask it for DWI/DUI) can be asked to go to the panel of doctors if that happend in a period of 3 yrs time before the interview date?"
