H1-B Extension timeline

Hi,

My husband filed H1-B extension on Jan 14th in California center and the status still shows Initial Review on USCIS status check website. Anyone else in the same boat?

I have heard that such long delays mostly result in RFE's. I have just 8 months until the end of 6 years so maybe that's causing the delay.

Thoughts and experiences please!!

Since it is already 90 days, your company attroney can take a infopass appointment to discuss the case with USCIS.
