Help Needed on the Current Status of H1B
Hi,
An employer X filed for H1B and i was issued H1B visa last year. Later i did not join company X. Recently i had to travel to US on B1 visa with my current employer and i was questioned at the port of entry why was i not travelling on H1B. I conveyed them that i did not join that employer yet. They asked me to visit the nearest Indian consulate to get the visa cancelled.
Now the employer X who filed my H1B has a new job offer for me and i am willing to join the employer.
Please suggest is my H1B visa/petition is still valid and will i be eligible to work in US? If i travel now, will there be any problem at port of entry? My petition or Visa are valid till Sep'11.
