**Need Urgent help**
Hi, I'm currently in US on H4 visa.
I have applied for H1b visa and it got approved in consular mode.
I understand that I will be required to travel to India and go through the visa interview in order to activate my H1b visa. Since that is a risk,
1. can I file an amendment to change it into change of status? If so, after i submit the amendment how long does it take to process and get the result?
2. In case the amendment is not approved can I go with the consular process again after that or does my petition entirely gets invalid?
3. Since I'm not working at india or at US, will there be any problem when i go for the visa interview?
4. How long can I wait before I file an amendment or attend the visa interview?
