Chances of H1b approval/rejection

A person i know may be offered an IT job (software development lead role using .Net etc) in an otherwise highly electronics based company. He has a software engineering masters degree from a university in India. Do you see any chances of rejection seeing that the company is mostly into datacom/ electronics/ embedded even though this work is in the application side of it?

I really hope people would stop asking chance related questions. No one can answer the amount of chance of anything happening. Each case is different and it is entirely up to the adjudicating officer on how they arrive at a decision.

On Provided Strong documentation( client letter, contracts MSA, PO, etc,.) has higher chances of approval.
