I am on H4 visa having valid B1/B2 visa till 2025

HI,

I have B1/B2 visa valid till 2025. I came to USA on H4 in 2016 and entered on H4. Although the visa officer did not cancel my prior visa (b1/B2). I am planning to visit India and but natural I have to appear for stamping (this will be second stamping as on first time when we came we did stamping). If there is any issue during stamping can I reenter USA on B1/B2 visa?

OR - instead of doing stamping in India, if I go to canada for stamping and there is any issue. Can I come to USA back on B1/B2 as my departure will be on H4?

You can try to re-enter with B1/B2 if it is still valid, but the risk of rejection is high due to H4 history. It is recommended to complete the H4 visa stamping to avoid problems.
