Today I got a letter from USCIS that H4 for my wife was denied due to no response for RFE. The letter states that RFE was mailed on 10/7 but I never received it. I was with company A when my H1 was extended in May-2019 and my wife's H4 was approved and she has the I94 (on the H4) till Jan 2021. However, I changed my company (to company B) in Sept 2019 and my H1 transfer was approved.
The H4 denial which I got was for H1 associated with company B. Will my wife go out of status because of H4 denial? What are the options I have now to ensure that my wife gets H4. We cannot travel to India for H4 stamping since we had a baby recently.
Please help if you have any experience for this situation.
