Help! Question on H1B extension

Hi gurus,

My employer is applying for H1B extension after the first three years.

I-129 form, Pg.14, asks for Fraud Prevention Detection fee of $500.00
BUT it says ' a US employer seeking INITIAL approval of H1B......' to pay this amount.

Is this fee applicable for extension application as well?

Please help. I do appreciate your time in reading my post.

It's not applicable for extensions.
