Hi Seniors,

Iam currently residing in USA from past 1 1/2 years on H4 and going for new H1B Visa interview on consualar processing and having permanent address in Andhra Pradesh.

So my question is ,can i opt KOLKATA as my interview location as Iam unable to get any visa interview slots for Hyderabad and want to avoid Chennai going due to "lots of rejections cases"

What if the VO ask a question like "Why did u chosen KOLKATA instead of Hyderabad which is your State of Residence (my permanent address is in Andhra Pradesh.)

As you are in USA, you can visit any visa office in india. The location is for who are applying within India itself.
