Does my wife need to travel with me to obtain my first H1B stamp?

I'm currently on F-1 and have my wife here in the United States as a dependent of me on F-2.

I'm planning on going to get my consular H1-B stamp bug was wondering if my wife is required to travel with me since she is my dependent

The problem is: once your status changes to H1, your wife will be out of status since she does not have a H4. Hence, it would be easier if she travels with you and gets her H4 stamped.
