He joined his new job in Feb '10 and his company applied for H1 transfer in mid Jan. He got a status update from USCIS saying an RFE is sent on April 4th, but when enquired with his company, they said they hadnt received any and it would take a couple of weeks. Even after 1 month, his company didnt receive the RFE, so they have requested USCIS to send another copy of the same.
Usually, RFE responses have to be sent in 60 days. In this case, 6 weeks are already over. Would USCIS extend the timelines of RFE response since the notice was not received on time. What are his options in this case?
