H4 Petition copy at port of entry?

Hello All,

My wife is in India and she will be travlling back to the US in few days. I want to know if she can carry H4 petition copy at port of enter without any problem.

She had gone to India when my H1-B transfer was applied(new employer), she will be travelling with a valid visa and orginal H4 petition (old employer) along with new H4 (copy) petition.

Copy should be enough, although it is advisable to carry the original to avoid even the 1% risk of travelling with the copy. Apart from the H4 approval, she will need a copy of your H1B approval notice as well.
