stuck in Tijuana (h1b)

Hi,

Need to know if anybody else is in the same situation or experienced it in past.
Had my h1b stamping interview at tijuana yesterday. After the interview (just a few questions), the VO said its approved and asked me to collect it next day. But later that day i got a voicemail and email informing that my case is still pending with VO for administrative process (no mention of 221g yet). I went to check status today and they said they will contact me and dont need anything from me.

They still have my passport.

i have heard many stories, people are stuck in mexico and canada for few days till consulate can validate every aspect of visa issued. Be patient and you will get your passport soon.

fyi,

i got the visa after 1 day wait. It turned out to be a PIMS related issue (although I had faxed a request for PIMS check a week before my appointment)
