H4 and H1B entering for the first time to the US

My husband and I got H1B and H4 stamping at the same time. We're wondering if I can get into the U.S. before her on my h4 visa. Note that this will be our first entry into the US

Putting aside the COVID-19 issue aside , You can enter before your wife on your H4 visa. But be ready to answer questions on why you are doing so. There might be a ton of questions , it depends on the immigration officer at the entry point.

Personal opinion - I wouldnt recommend it.
