Q2 (APR-JUN)-2010 Mumbai applicants Re-stamping Trend?

Hello,

Just wanted to check what's the general trend for H1B re-stamping applicants at Mumbai consulate? I have been hearing some cases that the consulate is creating "trouble" for returning H1B employees/consultants.

Could anyone please share if most applicants are being approved/denied or getting 221G? If 221G - what kind of documents are being asked.

I hope this will be a busy season as many people would be visiting home and would be great if they can share the experiences.

Can anyone help with stats?

Has anyone recently had experience with Restamping at Mumbai (or for that matter any consulate)? Please share your experience and or your friends. It will be of great help.

This is a peak season and i can't imagine people not going in for visa stamping.
