Change of status help

Dear Sir/Madam

I came to US in Dec 2007 on H4 visa. I applied for H1B in 2008 through 2 companies and my petition was approved in both. I started working from DEC 2008 [with one petition]. I worked till AUG 2009. I went to my home country in September 2009 and I went for VISA stamping and I couldn't get VISA stamped as my employer didn’t apply for proper LCA and also I don’t have any project. I came back to US on H4 visa in November 2009.I got a project now (joining date is 6/2/2010) and I am trying to use my other petition that are willing to provide all documentation. They are suggesting going to Canada/Mexico for H1B stamping so that I can start working once Visa gets approved. Let me know which is the best possibility?

You don't need visa stamping to start working. You need visa stamping to enter the U.S. if you go out of the U.S.
