Drop box/Emergency visa services option!!!

I came to india due to family emergency as my father passed away . I am eligible for Drop box visa renewal but services are suspended. My Family is in US so I need to go back as the earliest .I have a small Son who is US citizen, Am I eligible for Emergency visa appoitment? Please suggest.

You should write to the consulate. Make sure you meet either the business based or health based requirements for the expedited appointment. But given the current situation, most embassies are operating with very minimal staff and it is mainly to provide support for US citizens. No harm in trying! Good luck!
