H1 to GC

Hi All,

I am working at a client for over 2 years now. The client is offering me a full time position.

I am in a dilemma whether to accept the full time position or not ? The reason behind this is the client does not do green cards.

My colleagues at workplace are advising me to accept the position for now and a couple of years down the road switch to some other employer who can do my green card. I feel doing this will only delay the gc process.

Can someone share their views/suggestions?

You never know what new rules will come up in the future about GC as they are making this process as difficult as possible. If your intenntion is to stay for few more years and continue working, then it is advisable to find an employer who is willing to go ahead with the GC. Getting this done at the last minute will only complicate things.
